Hello
I have very weird problem. I have several different switches in my network. All seem to work fine except the Cisco ones. They all seem to show that most/all network hardware is connected to some port 75th. The catch is that all Cisco switches have only 28 ports! Further more I can't imagine having several physical computers connected to one physical port.
Can you help me?
The Cisco switches are SG300 28 (SRW2008).
(Sorry forgot about this:)

Re: 28-port switch showing all connections on 75th port?
I got it!
From one of the Cisco's MIB readmes:
(...)
In SG300 device family:
The ports are mapped to ifIndex 49 and above. Therefore, port GE1 is mapped to ifIndex 49, port GE2 is mapped to ifIndex 50 etc.
(...)
Example 3: SG300-28
-------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|:::::::: |:::::Network Ports:::::::|:::Copper Uplinks:|::Combo Uplink |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|:::::::: |::1:::2::::::::::::24:::::|:::GE25:::GE26::::|::GE27:::GE28::|
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|ifIndex |::49::50:::::::::::72:::::|::::73::::::74::::::|:::75:::::76:::::|
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(...)
For the several ip addresses on the same port, after recalculating port numbers I guess that it shows ip addresses connected to second switch. On 27th port (“port 75”) is connected next switch.
Now is there any way to remap the ifIndex in Mactrack? I mean when I use Mactrack I want to see "Port Number" on the switch starting from "1" (as in real world) rather then "49".
P.S. Sorry for no quote tags, but the table went nuts and had to edit it manually so this is not direct quotation but partly processed text.
