Hello,
I've just made a new Cacti server "manualy", I installed Centos 6.3, and installed cacti myself.
Now I want to put the last backup of my CactiEZ running for 5 month now, on my new server and delete the old one.
So i installed cacti on my NEW server using the same path as CactiEZ (/var/www/html/) and i set the same sql login:password. (Like that the backup will fit)
I mooved the cacti.sql from the backup to the new server and overwrited all the files with the CactiEZ files.
BUT it doesn't work, i can't connect to my new server now.. i have a blank page with "CAN NOT CONNECT"
What did I missed ? What should I do on my new server for it to accept CactiEZ backup ?
What difference did i forget...
Restore a backup from CactiEZ to fresh Cacti on Centos ?

Re: Restore a backup from CactiEZ to fresh Cacti on Centos ?
Ok the "CAN NOT CONNECT" problem is solved. I use the wrong cacti.sql backup.
Now i can connect but I see the page for the first time cacti install... So I lost all my graph and templates and data sources..(But still have the rra)
I have transfered all the files : Graph_templates.php, data_sources.php, ....
But when i go to graph templates on the menu of my new server there are just the basics templates of cacti, where are all the rest ? Did i forgot to transfert a file ? Where are all the templates ?

Its always best just to export the MySQL databases yourself, it seems like you are using the cacti.sql from the base install.
