How to monitor the system CentOS 6.0 using cacti?
Can anybody tell me how to monitor a host like CentOS 6.0 using cacti? Is it the same as Unix(AIX/Solaris)?

Ensure net-snmp is installed and enabled on it, and then just use the default Host MIB templates. Its pretty standard, so a lot of the default templates out there will work with it.

Thanks for your reply.I have installed net-snmp-5.4.2.1,and configured the file in /usr/local/snmp/share/snmp/snmpd.conf,but it doesn't work.I wonder if I should configure the file /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf or /usr/local/snmp/share/snmp/snmpd.conf.I have added the file below. Please help me check if there is something wrong. Thanks a lot!cigamit wrote:Ensure net-snmp is installed and enabled on it, and then just use the default Host MIB templates.
