Everything seemed to be working great up until 2 weeks ago when I came in to work to find our CentOS 6.3 server running nagios Nagios® Core™ 3.4.4 and Cacti Version 0.8.8a along with NPC v2.0.4 had shutdown improperly due to power related issues.
Up to the point this had happened My procedures for adding our sites consisted of me creating the nagios .cfg file for a site containing all the network devices to be up/down monitored, from there I'd save, restart nagios service then log into cacti interface.
In the cacti interface I'd click on the NPC tab and go to n2c the newly created hostgroup would be there along with all the devices I had added to the nagios cfg file (as it should be) I'd check the checkbox for the hostgroup and select from the templates dropdown box Generic SNMP-enabled Host then click import this worked fine for the 10 sites I had setup previous to the improper shutdown of the server.
Now after the fact I follow the same procedure the newly added sites show up in n2c but after I select the Generic SNMP-enabled Host then click import the importing popup window freezes at 1/37 and only this first device shows up in the cacti devices outside the npc tab. After some extensive sifting through logs I noticed a log entry in the apache logs that shows up everytime I click the import button , thereby inducing the problem it is

The client address 172.16.99.117 is my laptop accessing the cacti interface, where 172.16.99.35 is ip address of the nagios/cacti server.
I've done extensive google searches trying to figure out the fix for this, so as to not have to ask the community for help, however I vi'ed into the /var/www/html/cacti/plugins/npc/top_graph_header.php file and found the line referenced but not sure what I'm to do and honestly not sure why an improper shutdown of the server would affect a line of code in a php script, I can see maybe database corruption, but as all new sites I've added since this improper shutdown took place show up in the n2c screen , leads me to believe database is fine, by all means correct me if I'm wrong.
Please Please Please help me out community, I'm appealing to your good nature, and in the future If I can help someone else out in the community I'll be sure to pay it forward.

Well I still haven't figured this out, I have since replaced a failed drive in Raid1 array, rebuilt array, seems most functionality works except the ability to import hostgroups from nagios, I've scoured the system logs and am not any closer to this getting resolved.
Looking like I'm going to have to wipe out the server and start over, I had hoped to get some feedback from the community.
