Hi Guys,
I searched several days for a solution by now, so now I'm posting here. I haven't found any helpful info, but maybe it's because I'm new to Linux.
I have a dozen of 1-Wire temperature probes hooked up to a Raspberry Pi via DS2482-800 and it works great so far. But now, to ease the hassle involved with creating rrd-graphs manually, I installed the cacti package via apt-get. It installs a boatload of dependencies like apache and php and much more. The installation runs relatively flawless, sometimes prompting for passwords.
After installation I can run the initial setup from (in my case) localhost/cacti, and this initial setup seems to get the settings right.
After installation however, whenever I try to login as admin/admin (with other combinations it gives of course the "invalid user/pass"-error), it drops back to localhost, stating only "it works" (which is a default apache-page?).
It is probably not configured correctly, but I do not where to look or what to do.
Please, don't be too harsh on me, I'm trying and new to the matter
Apache "it works!" after login

Re: Apache "it works!" after login
Looks like a configuration issue with httpd, but only a guess

Thank you for your reply. I might have forgot to mention that it drops back to localhost instead of something like localhost/cacti
Can anybody tell me what the config files should look like or what else steps are necessary in a vanilla install?

For a starter we would need to know which version of Debian you are using (I assume Debian as you said apt-get). Which version of cacti? For packages of 0.8.7i and up, you should have a look at /etc/cacti/debian.php and check the line with $url_pathMisterKrabs wrote:Thank you for your reply.
