ldap (DN)group name with special character

Post by _raindrop18 »

Hello!
I am using for long time with ldap authentication with group membership requirement. the setup looks like this
CN=Admin,CN=Users,DC=company,DC=net
and working just fine just fine, and now I built new server for new company and the group name is
admin\
with backward slash. and Cacti automatically add "\" escape character and read like this
CN=admin\\,CN=Users,DC=company,DC=net
but it didn't work. is there any one have experience same issue? any idea!?

thanks,
