Help with Total Disk with snmp informant

Post by Iokepa »

I am a total newb with Cacti, so please be gentle. I have been googling for almost a month now and I still can't find an answer. I installed SNMP informant and got all the graphs working, but now my company is asking me to get the windows graphs to look like our linux graphs. The problem is, I can't seem to find a way to get total disk.

Here is what our linux graph looks like:
Linux Disk Graph
Linux Disk Graph
linux_disk_graph.png (13.37 KiB) Viewed 1611 times
The windows graph looks like this:
windows disk graph
windows disk graph
windows_disk_graph.png (22.04 KiB) Viewed 1611 times
As you can see our windows graph is in percentage not actual size. I looked in snmp informant and I don't see a MIB for total disk.

Does anyone have a template they would be willing to share that can get me started in the right direction or help me figure out how to get snmp informant to get total disk size?

Why aren't you using the [SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions] data query against Windows? while snmp informant provides more info, it's not required to achieve your goal.

I inherited support of cacti because the previous support person at our company left, and everything I read stated use snmp informant so i did. Isn't there an SNMP version requirements also with cacti? Our hosts are on snmp v2.
