Proper method to install Plugin platform on Ubuntu Server

Post by savoy9020 »

I've installed Cacti on a fresh Ubuntu Server 12.04, from the Ubuntu repositories. Have it running pulling data just fine. What is the proper method to install the plugin architecture, so I can enable thresholds, monitoring, and notifications?

Please have a look at the ppa in my signature (and don't worry it is not for your Ubuntu release, it still works).
