[solved] Specific Graph Not Updating

Post by TSPARR »

One of my graphs isn't updating. It just says "-nan" for all values. I changed cacti logging to debug and looked into the logs and I can see that the correct variables are being obtained and I can do an snmpwalk and get that response as well, but the graph just isn't being updated at all. I'm also not getting any errors in debug mode from data source or graph. Cacti 0.8.8a

Thanks in advance.

Do you see the associated 'rrdtool update' commands being issued for that data source?
Followed http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:4_help.2_debugging ?

I'll have to keep that in mind for next time, but this time it looks like it was me causing the issue. I had applied a CDEF to divide the number I get by 10, but I think my maximum amount was being applied prior to the mathematical function. So it wasn't being graphed because it was over the maximum even though after my CDEF was applied it would have been under. Anyways, I changed that up, and then deleted the graph+data source and recreated them. Everything seems to be working good now. Thanks for you help though.

Thanks. This "debugging guide" solved it for me.
