hey all
we have Alcatel IP DSLAMs installed in our network
and im trying to get SNMP info from them through cacti
but the server only reads the CPU and cannot see the slots or the interfaces
any suggestions ??

First RTM (Read the Manual). You need to either find, on this site or somewhere else an existing template, find someone to make it for you, or break out your keyboard.

There are two contexts regarding those nodes.
The context NT only takes information of the cpu and other counters.
The context shub gives you all the other informations:
In The config of the node, you can see the communities applyed to each context. I don't know yet how to create a node with 2 communities, but i'm just beginning...

In my case I had to create an snmp query with an xml for the snmp queries. The xml for snmp queries by default did not show me the lines of interfaces. Usually these teams use the NETMAN community and public, if I remember correctly.
