Graph tree not hierarchical

I have upgraded my Debian testing (wheezy) installation to current versions of all packages. This also upgraded the Cacti package to 0.8.8.a-dfsg2. After this upgrade, the object tree in Tree Mode (Dual Pane) is not hierarchical, but flat - it just contains the tree name in the top level and all items (headers as well as hosts and graphs) in the same level under the top.

The apache2 error log says:

File does not exist: /var/www/javascript, referer: http://my.site.address.cz/cacti/graph_v ... leaf_id=75

However, I cannot figure out what is wrong here - for example, why graph_view.php tries to open /var/www/javascript and where ... Any ideas, please?

Hi,

there was a problem with this package. You need to install the packages libjs-jquery and libjs-jquery-cookie for the graph trees to work. But I still have another problem. The first level of the trees and subtrees for hosts work, but the Header-entries don't generate any subtrees anymore. All hosts are displayed below the Headers and you can't collapse or expand the host entries below the Headers. Can you check, if you have the same problem? Does anyone know a solution?

I installed the packages you mention and got the state you describe: the tree is nicer, but the "hierarchy" still does not work the expected way. In fact, the original problem persists, the tree is still "flat" the same way it was before, but after installing the packages it looks fancier.

Sorry for not seeing this thread earlier, I could have told you this. Do you confirm that the patch in the Debian bug 702690 fixes your issue? Can you please comment on the bug report?

A new version of Debian package appeared just a few days ago. I can confirm that cacti_0.8.8a+dfsg-4_all.deb solves the problem described above. Thank you.
