I seen this error in weathermap management. What should I do

Post by plawansai »

Hello all,
I seen this error in weathermap management. What should I do ?
02/20/2013 01:17:10 PM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] WARNING: [Map 26] IPCore (Error Stat): ReadData: LINK CRS-3_NON-node09490, target: /var/lib/cacti/rra/crs-3_non_errors_in_2155.rrd on config line 994 of /usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/weathermap/configs/IPCore (Error Stat) had no valid data, according to WeatherMapDataSource_rrd

02/20/2013 01:17:10 PM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] WARNING: [Map 26] IPCore (Error Stat): RRD ReadData: At least one of your DS names (traffic_in and traffic_out) were not found, even though there was a valid data line. Maybe they are wrong? Valid DS names in this file are: errors_in,discards_in,discards_out,errors_out, [WMRRD06]
Thank you verymuch.

You have picked an RRD file for the target that doesn't contain traffic information, only errors & discards.

So, either:

1) You picked the wrong RRD file, and you need to change the filename to the traffic RRD file.

or

2) You want to show error statistics on the link, so you'll need to tell Weathermap which DS to use from inside that RRD file - the second error message tells you the possible names. The full TARGET line would look like:

TARGET /var/lib/cacti/rra/crs-3_non_errors_in_2155.rrd:errors_in:errors_out

(assuming you wanted errors)
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
