Import RRD not update

Post by predou »

Hi !
I search on Cacti's forum but i don't find the answer at my problem :o/

Cacti work fine !
I use cmd.php for polling.

When i want to use an other RRD than cacti create, Cacti don't success to update this !
But , i the LOG file ( high level logging ), he show me the line
/usr/local.... rrdtool update ..... -t ds0:1110045611:4 <= example

And after, if i launch this command manually, i success update my rrd file :o/

Why cacti don't want to update an import RRD file ??

Pleaseeee :o

What do you mean by "imported RRD file"?

Has this file any graph associated?

How did you "import" these RRD's?

That might be the whole issue.

It's older RRD file that i used 2 weeks ago !

I just put in RRA directory and i select them in the Data Source in Cacti and choose good configuration ( ds name, type, etc etc .... ).

The log show me that Cacti do the command for update this RRD but he don't do in reality !

And, if i copy and execute manually in SHELL the command, it works fine !!

Have you checked the user rights and ownership on the relevant files?
