fatal error

Hello,

What is this error all about ?

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 341

One of 2 things...

1. You have not setup the config.php to point to the cacti database with the correct username/password.

2. PHP does not have mysql support. Run the following command and if you don't see mysql, it's you need to add it in php.

i have the same problem....

have installed over apt-get install php4-mysql but its not in the php -m list....

what is the problem?

Make sure that the module is included in your php.ini file.

the prob is solved...but now i have another problems...

can show the graphs for hdd space, but nothing appears on the cpu load, mem usage, logged in users... graphs...

can u help?

Go into the Devices section and edit the Localhost. Click the little green circle by the "Unix - Get Mounted Partitions" Associated Data Queries line. This will requery the partitions on the system. After that has updated, you can click the "Create Graphs for this Host" link at the top and create your graphs for the mounted partitions.

hmm, u dont understand me..;)

i CAN graph the hdd

BUT

NOT the cpu load/ mem load/ logged in users/ interface...

the graphes for this are there, but no data is in it...

FYI, you have to have a running and configured SNMP Daemon to graph traffic. There are not scripts to graph interface stats from localhost.

hmmmm

on the "devices" tab are shown the following...

Localhost (127.0.0.1)
SNMP Information
SNMP not in use

hmm, but i have installed snmp...and conft wit the snmpconf...i have a snmp.conf file but ....

im confused....
