Previous Day/Week/Time overlay

Wondering if their is a way to overlay the previous data points onto a current graph.

For example, If I was viewing a 6h graph for an interface today, and I wanted to see how that data compared to the previous week/day at the same time...

One idea is to simply select a different time range on the Graphs' screen and open it on another browser tab (ctrl + click on the right/left arrows)

It may not be as pretty, but it works and takes you about 5 seconds

That's what I'm doing now to get around it.

Was hoping someone has written a plugin that does the overlay.

I don't even know if it's possible to do with RRD

While it can be done using RRDTool, I'm almost certain Cacti doesn't support it

AFAIK, it was somewhat scheduled to be launched on 0.8.8, but never made it

If you really need this kind of functionality, maybe you could give it a shot by doing it yourself

next cacti version will support SHIFT feature of rrdtool. This should get you what you need
