Custom XML Graph not showing.

Post by hardtarget »

Hi all. First, great work on Cacti. This is my first time using Cacti, so bear with me. :D

Anyways, I'm getting a really weird error when turning on the graph debug mode:

Code: Select all

RRDTool Says:

ERROR: opening '/usr/local/share/cacti/rra/app1_gadoz_com_osxsystemproc_133.rrd': No such file or directory
Of course, the directory does exist, but the file app1_gadoz_com_osxsystemproc_133.rrd does not. I tried just 'touching' the file, but that didn't work. Is there some way I can 'force' this file to be created?

On a side note, does anyone know if XML template file(s) exist for OS X SNMP querying, and/or a howto for setting up Cacti to poll OS X? I've been banging my head against the wall for 2 days, to no avail.

poller.php

Be sure you have poller.php in your crontab. Check documentation on how to do it:

http://www.cacti.net/downloads/docs/htm ... _unix.html

If the rrd file doesn't exist, the execution of poller.php will create it.

Yes, it is in my crontab. None of my other graphs would be working if it wasn't.
