Windows Server 2008 r2 x64 Bit CPU and memory stat Graphs

Post by Sainyam »

Hi Support,

I was trying to get through with this issue since long but can’t make up.

I am using Cacti EZ. I am trying to get graphs of CPU AND Memory usage of my Server and Workstations.

Allow me to write down first what I have tried and how with NO Luck!

http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=29832
- Downloaded Zip files.
- Imported templates.
- Pasted SNMP queries to /var/www/html/resource/snmp_queries.
- Installed SNMP informant agent on Server.
- specified data queries in Cacti Console.
- Created Data source and then created Graphs. but every time i get error of RRD file not found. (No RRD file created on that path) I checked data source in debug mode but none error there.
- If I run SNMP walk by the same IOD used in xmL I get good result.
- If i created a simple one IOD based template then also I get the graphs but by that I can have only either for Ram Used or Free but I want both of them in same graph.
After few more tweaks i dropped the idea of snmp and route to WMI.
I found few WMI template and I used them they created graphs but there is no data coming up in the graphs.

Please ask on the scripts and templates forum. There should be some WMI threads. Unix people usually won't know too much about that magic
