How do I define threshoulds for Cacti?

Cacti does not currently support thresholds.

But more of a better question would be, what do you mean by thresholds?

I need to generate alerts (email, popup, SMS, run a command, etc) based in established limits... That´s my problem... :-?

for now, you're out of luck. cacti does not perform that functionality. There are other tools out there you may want to look into: opennms, and nagios come to mind.

Good old MRTG support threshold also. It probably is planned for a future version of Cacti as well.
