cacti xml2 array

hello and bonjour ,

i hvae installed cacti in system ubunt 10.04 . I intially had error in deprication and i corrected it with http://docs.cacti.net/faq#deprecated_warnings and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/589543 .
and that worked well .
But now actually i have error like this

Fatal error: Call to undefined function xml2array() in /usr/share/cacti/site/lib/data_query.php on line 78.

I see that function is called in the file and i dont knw how to activate it .
i am not a programmer or geniuis in linux .I am intermediate .
I kindly need ur help please and expertise in it .
i have attached the file so that you can have a clear idea and i am blocked please do help me
