Re: Interface Traffic Graphs are wrong in total
The total would be the max for each 5 minute period added together

Thanks for your replyLinegod wrote:The total would be the max for each 5 minute period added together
But this method is incorrect , for calculating total usage we need this formula :
avg * 3600 * 24
How to solve this ?
This total usage is not really right now
So thanks
Re: Interface Traffic Graphs are wrong in total
Adjust the 'Total' item on the graph, and read this: http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:6_reference.variables

Re: Interface Traffic Graphs are wrong in total
Can give me text format or value for calculating total bandwidth ?Linegod wrote:Adjust the 'Total' item on the graph, and read this: http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:6_reference.variables
I test this : |sum:auto:total:2:auto| on text format but it is not working correct
So thanks
Re: Interface Traffic Graphs are wrong in total
What do you mean it is not working correctly?

Re: Interface Traffic Graphs are wrong in total
Avg inbound is : 3.25 MBLinegod wrote:What do you mean it is not working correctly?
So : 3.25 * 3600 * 24 = 280,800 MB
But total inbound daily is in graph : 73.86 GB
I attached image for you
Thanks

Re: Interface Traffic Graphs are wrong in total
The graph is showing you the actual total - based on the real values in the RRD file.
Your calculation (3.25*3600*24) would be a theoretical total, and would not reflect reality at all.

I think actual total is 3.25 * 3600 * 24Linegod wrote:The graph is showing you the actual total - based on the real values in the RRD file.

When avg usage in sec is 3.25 MB , 73 GB is not true for 24 hours
Can help me how to calculating realy usage at 24 hours (with my formula) ?
So thanks
