Need help troubleshooting own template

Hi,

I have adevice, that shares temperatures via SNMP. I wanted to graph those temperatures, so I started to dig inside Cacti/scripts to create my own.

So far I have PHP script, which is working fine, XML file, which should be working fine. Next is data template, graph template, data query, data source and my device - all added in Cacti.

Device has the query added to it and "Verbose query" link gives me info (as it should). I have created graphs for this device (two sensors -> two graphs), troubleshooted the data source (I hadto add custom data with indexes). Cacti created device folder inside RRA folder, but no .rrd files inside it.

If I watch log, I can see there is nothing mentioned about my device. The same with poller cache.

My device is not polled for temperature data, but it is polled for interface data (from standard Cacti templates).

My PHP script is inspired by other PHP script (working), the same goes for XML file.

Is there somebody who could help me find the problem? I will post more info, if you ask for it (as I don't know what to post - my script is not mentioned anywhere).

Of course - I will share my template, when it's finished, although not much people is probably running this device.

As usual - when I ask for help, I fugure it out myself after some time. I've been stuck for about 5 hours and all I had to do was switching Data input method in my Data query to "Get Script Data (indexed)" (it was Get script server data before - what is the difference?).

"Indexed" stuff is used for Query stuff (when you have mulitple data e.g. from a table, like traffic or partitions)
The non.indexed is for plain data, like temperature
