How to create a CDEF to get the average CPU usage?

Post by wangxr1985 »

If a server has multiple cores, the default data template of windows host can get the cpu usage of each CPU.
I want to get the total CPU usage graph of the server.
(the sum of all CPUs) / (CPU number)
For example,if a server has 8 cores, one CPU usage is 100%,and the othres are 0%,the total CPU usage is 12.5%.

How to create a CDEF to get it?

The graph template creates a MEAN average for the CPUs. Been using it for years.
