I'm thinking about integrating thold into some external tools in order to automate ticket creation.

Currently I'm thinking about the possibility to create Jira or ZenDesk Tickets, Run external Scripts or simply send SNMP Traps based on thold breaches.

I would strongly vote for SNMP Traps feature I have already requested that feature in the past but was ignored.

For the SNMP Traps requests, the only tool really making use of it which comes to my mind is the TEC (you know, IBM Tivoli ...) or are there others like it ?

In my organization, we are using Unicenter NSM Event Console that receives traps directly from multiple applications and displayed at NOK area on Large Display.
Operators are pressing me to to send Threshold email notifications as traps to EventConsole but because Threshold doesn't support I can't do it.

That is pretty much the only thing that is stopping our organization from throwing out CA Spectrum and E-Health crappy products in favor of Full Cacti support. Until than we are forced to use both.

The poll has been closed. Final selection was SNMP Trap.

I'm going to look into this and will provide an addon for this capabilites as soon as possible. This will be released with the same license as Thold itself.

One note in advance: It's definately possible to implement SNMP Traps.

I would love to see SNMP Traps implementation and would love to be a beta tester. Please keep me in mind.
