New user to Cacti - looking for some information

Hello,

I have been searching and reading about Cacti and it sounds quite interesting, however I have a few questions.

-Does Cacti support monitoring bandwidth with multiple vlans on a netscreen ssg140 and ssg5? (based on hyper-v VMs)
-Can you alert based on bandwidth spiking for a particular vlan or ip?
-Does anyone have any experience with WhatsUp Gold compared to Cacti?

The first two questions basically depend on what you can get from SNMP. In case you can get the required data, you can solve this using cacti
