PHP Script Server strange behaviour !

Post by stephanp »

Hello,

I create a php script server, that work fine in command line.
I copy it on the cacti server (with Xml file), create a "Data Querie".
I had this data query to one host... and then ....
The php script was emptied !!!!

Before applying to a host :
cacti_before.png
cacti_before.png (25.06 KiB) Viewed 544 times
After applying to to host :
cacti_after.png
cacti_after.png (22.97 KiB) Viewed 544 times
I tried to make a very simple php script server. I have the same behaviour !
Very strange.

Cacti 0.8.8a on RedHat 6.

Cacti usually does not write to the scripts directory.
You may remove write permission for apache to make sure nothing bad happens.
What does this very script do?

In fact i make à mistake in thé XML file.
I put two ">" in the script_path So the command passed during polling is php -q > script.php.

I can now finalize my template and post it ASAP.

Tanks.
