Strange behaviour of PHP

Post by murwalec »

Dear all,

I have the following problem:

1. When trying to update some information on a device and saving the information the screen went blank
2. Adding a new device did work
3. After upgrading PHP from 5.2 to 5.3 the problem persisted
4. After upgrading cacti from 0.8.8 to 0.8.8a the problem persisted - it even got worse, because the update script runs correctly until the point whne I press "finish". I get the blank screen again and the update is not finished.

Here's my setup:
Windows Server 2008R2
PHP 5.3.19
MySQL 5.0
cacti 0.8.8a

Any help is really appreciated...

Regards,
Martin

Tnx for directing me to the right log - her'es what I found in the PHP error log:
Call to undefined function autom8_log() in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\plugins\autom8\autom8_functions.php on line 25
I renamed the autom8 directory and everything works fine. I just have to figure out what's wrong with autom8 but I can live without it...

Thanks again,

Martin

Possibly the code in the autom8 svn has this issue already resolved. Worth a try. if not, then time to file a bug http://bugs.cacti.net/
