Can't manage Plugins

Post by muzzia321 »

Hello all,

I am running Cacti 0.8.7i on Windows Server 2003 and have installed the plugin architecture. I have a few problems with this:

1. First of all, I don't see anything for "Plugin Management" on the sidebar. Also, I do not see an option under "Realm Permissions" to allow the user to manage plugins.

2. I installed Weathermap. It shows a tab for Weathermap at the top of the page, but when I click it, it tells me that I do not have proper permission to do anything with it (keep in mind I am logged in as Admin). I also do not see anything in Realm Permissions pertaining to Weathermap (which I assume there should be, after seeing screenshots online).

3. I have another plugin, CAMM, that I installed the same way I did with Weathermap, but there is no tab at the top of the page for it.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

Usually, you will have to explicitely provide permissions for a user to use a specific plugin. Find that in user management, realms

Thank you for replying, but please reread my post. I specifically said in the user permissions page it does not give me options to allow plug in management or to allow permissions for certain plug ins.

In 087i, it was necessary to install pa.sql manually to provide required tables. Did you run that sql?
