THis problem is a database issue, as when I created a new dbase everything worked perfectly. Is there a way of exporting the definitions of the hosts etc to the new dbase.

Cheers

Ok all information is getting stored in the poller_output table of the database correctly however, the rra files are not getting updated

the rra and log folder permissions have been set with
chown -R cacti:cacti rra && chown -R cacti:cacti log

I'm not sure what to do

Ok I cracked the shits and started again. Oh well. Seemed to be poller issue with pulling the info out of poller_output as now when it works there are no records in this table where as when it wasn't working there were 3.2mb of records.

Oh well thanks for all your help

Just a note, the poller_cache should have 0 records after each polling cycle is complete. If it's non zero, that would mean that poller.php is crashing for some reason as it was in 0.8.6b UNPATCHED.
