Bugs on cacti ? (graph management) [BUG OPENED]

Post by mikygee »

Hello Gandalf,

I've also noticed another potential bug. And I would like you to confirm that I can open a bug request.

Go to Management > Graph Management
Select a graph with Template Name = Interface - Traffic (bits/sec)
For example: "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/18"

Change the "Inbound Data Source" field from "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/18" to "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/17" (you can take a radom interface that has in and out traffic)
And Save

Select again the graph "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/18" that you previously edited and revert the change you did -> Change the "Inbound Data Source" field from "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/17" to "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/18"
And Save

The bug is here: At that moment you'll have a list of the graphs and the new title of your graph will be "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/17" with the port number 17 instead of 18.

Workaround: Select again "sw1 - Traffic - Gi2/0/17" and do Save right away. The title will be then correct.
