-su: query_hrStorageAllocationUnits: command not found

Post by nixrox »

good morning gurus:

I am having the following problem after adding the hrStorageTable mod to my cacti installation. I get this when I try to add a graph:

www-data@sensor1:~$ /usr/bin/rrdtool graph - \
> --imgformat=PNG \
> --start=-86400 \
> --end=-300 \
> --title='siem1 - hrStorageTable /dev/md2' \
> --base=1000 \
> --height=120 \
> --width=600 \
> --alt-autoscale-max \
> --lower-limit=0 \
> --vertical-label='Storage' \
> --slope-mode \
> --font TITLE:12: \
> --font AXIS:8: \
> --font LEGEND:8: \
> --font UNIT:8: \
> DEF:a="/usr/share/cacti/site/rra/siem1_hdd_free_202.rrd":hdd_used:AVERAGE \
> DEF:b="/usr/share/cacti/site/rra/siem1_hdd_free_202.rrd":hdd_free:AVERAGE \
> CDEF:cdefa=a,|query_hrStorageAllocationUnits|,* \
> CDEF:cdefe=b,|query_hrStorageAllocationUnits|,* \
> LINE1:cdefa#FF0000FF:"Total Size (Bytes)" \
> GPRINT:cdefa:LAST:"Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
> GPRINT:cdefa:AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
> GPRINT:cdefa:MAX:"Maximum\:%8.2lf %s\n" \
> AREA:cdefe#0000FFFF:"Used Size (Units)" \
> GPRINT:cdefe:LAST:" Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
> GPRINT:cdefe:AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
> GPRINT:cdefe:MAX:"Maximum\:%8.2lf %s\n"

-su: query_hrStorageAllocationUnits: command not found

looks like a syntax error or something. Anyone know fix?

It's not "really" a syntax error. This template makes use of a Cacti pseudo variable which unfortunately does not get resolved in your example. Please run a reindex on this host|query pair to fill the SNMP Cache with the values required for hrStorageAllocationUnits

You should take care to set the correct reindex method. For storage, I suppose at least an "index count changed" should be used ...

The command is actually available for download in the cacti’s original site. They have provided almost all the commands for download. I do not have the link now with me. But I can get it for you if you can wait for some time.
