Cacti 0.8.8a empty graph :-(
Hi!
I have just installed Cacti 0.8.8a, using this guide: http://www.tecmint.com/install-cacti-ne ... ora-17-12/
My graph is unfortunately empty. I have checked that the device is reported as "UP".
SG530 Firewall (192.168.15.1)
SNMP Information
System:Linux SG560 2.4.31-uc0 #1 Tue Jul 29 19:03:02 EST 2008 armv5b
Uptime: 1530885873 (177 days, 4 hours, 27 minutes)
Hostname: SG560
Location: Unknown
Contact: build@
First it looked like that my file permissions was wrong, but I think that they're OK now.
-rwxrwxr-x 1 cacti cacti 94816 Sep 26 14:31 sg530_firewall_traffic_in_8.rrd
-rwxrwxr-x 1 cacti cacti 94816 Sep 26 14:31 sg530_firewall_traffic_in_9.rrd
Any good ideas ?

Re: Cacti 0.8.8a empty graph :-(
check your cacti log for any error first
then check your pooler cache and try to get the snmp values based on the command from the cache. it will involve firing up script server manually and copy pasting the pooler cache command

If the filestamps were taken at the moment you wrote your message, I would say that your cron job is not running. The file is one day old.jjonsson wrote: -rwxrwxr-x 1 cacti cacti 94816 Sep 26 14:31 sg530_firewall_traffic_in_8.rrd

Correct. How can I check if it's running and if it's not how can I make it run ?paulgevers wrote:If the filestamps were taken at the moment you wrote your message, I would say that your cron job is not running. Thx.

Not much in the log. But I think this is important:GhostOrchid wrote:check your cacti log for any error first

How do I sync CRON ?

You don't sync cron. Please copy/paste the contents of your cron entry that runs the poller? Did you set it up? Usually it is either in /etc/crontab or in /etc/cron.d/<something>jjonsson wrote:How do I sync CRON ?

Try clearing the poller cache.jjonsson wrote:Not much in the log. But I think this is important:GhostOrchid wrote:check your cacti log for any error first

Go to Console -> Utilities -> System Utilities -> Rebuild Poller Cache.
EDIT:
According to the tutorial you followed, it instructs you to do the following:
If clearing poller cache doesn't work, post the contents of that file.Open file /etc/cron.d/cacti.
# vi /etc/cron.d/cacti
Uncomment the following line. The poller.php script runs every 5mins and collects data of known host which is used by Cacti application to display graphs.
#*/5 * * * * cacti /usr/bin/php /usr/share/cacti/poller.php > /dev/null 2>&1

That was it, I forgot to uncomment the line. It's working now. Thanks you very much for your helpvictorantunes wrote: Try clearing the poller cache.
