[solved] Time difference between graph and system

Post by kposkitt »

Hi Cacti

I am having an issue with my graphs been out of sync with time. The time on the cacti system is correct and so is BIOS. The two attachments are the graph image showing the current graphs and the time logged. The time logged is about 8 hours out. Is there a time specified somewhere in Cacti that i can change. I have check regional setting but all ok too.

Any ideas much appreciated.

Windows XP Professional workstation 32bit
Cacti 0.8.8a

Found this in the php.ini file.

date.timezone="America/Los_Angeles"
; Defines the default timezone used by the date functions
; http://php.net/date.timezone
;date.timezone =

I am in the UK, so does this need changing and what to.

Changed to:

// London, England, Europe
date.timezone = "Europe/London"
date.default_latitude = 51.500181
date.default_longitude = -0.12619

Will post if this fixes.
