Decimals on Y-axis

Hi,

Just started using cacti and already created my first perl data input script that parses serial port input from some sensors.
Managed to graph the values i'm getting, but have a question.

I'd like to use autoscale without limits so that I can get more precise graphing data.
Here's what happens, the Y-axis values aren't showing decimals:

How come?

Also, how to show units

Apparently the --alt-y-grid should solve my issue.
There was even a patch back then and supposedly this option was added in cacti subsequently.

I believe it was added as feature in 0.8.7c (svn r4451)?

Now on the 0.8.8a cacti release I can't find that option?
There's no reference to --alt-y-grid in lib/rrd.php at all?

Questions for the more experienced folks here,
what would be the best way to patch my 0.8.8a files with above mentioned changes from the SVN?
I could do it manually but..whats the SVN way?

Um i did manage to get the wanted result by using the --alt-y-grid.
The thing is... why isn't --alt-y-grid option included in the latest cacti release?

Because 0.8.9 is not yet ready for production. Current SVN code already has support for --alt-y-grid.
