Cacti Installation / no Graphs???

Post by ApoC »

hi

i´m using a debian root, to do some things, and now i want to analyze some values like traffic, cpu usage and so on...

//EDIT //

have cacti working, but no graphs...

first: cant locate poller.php
second: the debug mode says: RRDTool Says:

/usr/bin/rrdtool: /opt/lampp/lib/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/librrd.so.0)

The poller.php file is located in the root directory of every Cacti installation since version 0.8.6.

It looks like something is broken with your installation of RRDTool. I suggest that you download the latest version and recompile as it comes with its own version of libpng.

Your graphs probably are not being displayed because of the RRDTool error that you are getting. Since this is an RRDTool-related problem, I suggest searching the rrd-users list for help.

Your response from the poller looks normal. Can you confirm that you have .rrd files in Cacti's rra/ directory? If so, RRDTool must be working to some extent. Try enabling the graph debug under graph management to see if it reveals anything useful.

Your poller cache and data query cache both look normal. I really don't know what to do about your libpng error as I've never encountered it. Google turned up some results if you want to check that out. I suspect though that the problem is related somehow to libpng on your system.

Grab source version of RRDTool and compile for source. It should create all the libs it needs. On a proper make install should correct the problem. Goto RRDTools website and read the docs.
