Cacti is not Graphing...

Post by sa10 »

I have setup Cacti... and when I configure it It does not produce graphs. I can pull SNMP info from my devices. I think its just a permission problem (that is where i run into most of my problems). When I look at the LOG file , the log is empty. There is nothing located in the /rra folder. Can anyone please try to shed some light on what my problem may be.

Thank You,

JJ

Check to make sure the username cmd.php runs as in step 8 owns the 'rra/' and 'log/' directories. This could explain why you are not getting any data in either of these directories.

You could also test this by running the command:

Code: Select all

php /var/www/html/cacti/cmd.php
(assuming those paths are correct)

If the permissions are wrong, executing this command will make that evident.

Thanks.. I got it working....... I just had a few things in the config typed incorrectly. I had a "slash" where one shouldnt of been, in a few different places.

The 2 Places that I had configured incorrectly were
cacti Web Root:
and
Web Server Document Root

Thanks for all Your help.
