No rrdfile update and Poller Output Table not Empty

Post by phkba »

After graphing for about a year a lot of graphs weren’t updating anymore.

08/19/2012 10:47:02 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] WARNING: Poller Output Table not Empty. Issues Found: 3194, Data Sources: traffic_in(DS[415]), traffic_out(DS[415]), traffic_in(DS[422]), traffic_out(DS[422]), traffic_in(DS[847]), traffic_out(DS[847]), traffic_in(DS[848]), traffic_out(DS[848]), traffic_in(DS[849]), traffic_out(DS[849]), traffic_in(DS[850]), traffic_out(DS[850]), traffic_in(DS[851]), traffic_out(DS[851]), traffic_in(DS[852]), traffic_out(DS[852]), traffic_in(DS[853]), traffic_out(DS[853]), traffic_in(DS[854]), traffic_out(DS[854]), Additional Issues Remain. Only showing first 20

I followed Gandalfs debugging instructions and the Datasources are being polled:

08/19/2012 10:47:02 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[16] TH[1] DS[415] SNMP: v2: 10.56.0.202, dsname: traffic_in, oid: .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6.49, value: 52105178869
08/19/2012 10:47:02 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[16] TH[1] DS[415] SNMP: v2: 10.56.0.202, dsname: traffic_out, oid: .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10.49, value: 26861405487

But the rrdtool update isn’t executed for the datasources.
Anyone that can help me find the problem of the missing rrdtool update command?

We recently had the same issue. In all cases, the data sources where either broken or referring to e.g. interfaces, that were down and hence no longer polled succesfully.

It happend to all traffic interfaces. Most of them were still up.
Ended up recreating all the graphs
