Hi.
I have the Cacti version 0.87.g installed with all the patches applied.
also I got the following plugins enabled on it:
Monitor - version 1.2
Settings - version 0.7
Weathermap - version 0.97a
Thold - 0.4.4
every thing works fine, except I started to have some gaps on some CPU graphs, so I decided to go with Spine.
I cpmpiled it and istalled at /usr/bin/spine with its configuration file at /etc/spine.conf. This file was properly configured with the same user/database we have at /var/www/htdocs/cacti/include/config.php.
When I change the Poller to spine no one graph gets updated and i just get the entries below loggd ont the cacti log:

I tryed to set it suid, but it keeps not working when started by the Cacti process

Re: trouble switching from cmd.php to spine
Hi
I´m sory for bothering you.
When i did the last suid it fixed the issue, now the graphs are getting updated.
The only thing I´m still see ont the log are enttries like this ones:
08/15/2012 09:30:12 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[46] ERROR: Problems parsing Multi SNMP OID! (oid: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.54.0 ), Set MAX_OIDS to 1 for this host to isolate bad OID

08/15/2012 09:30:12 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[33] ERROR: Problems parsing Multi SNMP OID! (oid: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.54.0 ), Set MAX_OIDS to 1 for this host to isolate bad OID
The MAX_OIDS parameter was alread changed to 1 on all those hosts and the Spine keeps complaining about them.
Best regards,
Carlos
