how to create a template with multiple charts?

Post by kvone »

I want to create a template and put it in a few graphs, for example:
traffic (in / out), packets (in / out), errors (in / out). and be able to choose the type of graph "my template" in "Create Graphs for this Host". cacti can do this? if so, how?

You could create graph templates for each of the mentioned possibilities, then associate them to the "SNMP - Interface Statistics" data query. Then when you create your graph, select what template you want to you from the drop down much like you do now.

I'm not entirely understood, it will give me the opportunity to do the following:
- I create a device: devices - Add
- Create graphics: Create Graphs for this Host - choose the necessary interfaces - choose from the drop down menu [Select a graph type] "my method", which will create 3 separate graphs for each selected interface (bytes / packets / errors)?

Oh, I see what you mean.....

Not really what you're talking about, but you could use the plugin "autom8" to create those graphs for you when you add the device.

Sorry I can't be more help
