We currently installed boost into a Memory Resident database, and are currently wondering what happens to the data if we shutdown mysqld via /etc/init.d/mysql stop
Will mysql write the data to disk or will the poll data be lost?
If it's lost on mysql shutdown i guess it would be a good idea to add "php poller_boost.php -f" to the stop function in the mysql init script?
Boost / MySQL behavior on stop/shutdown?

The poll data will be lost.
That would work. Ensure the 'restart' function has it as well, if it is not calling stop/start.mastrboy wrote:If it's lost on mysql shutdown i guess it would be a good idea to add "php poller_boost.php -f" to the stop function in the mysql init script?
