THOLD and IO

Hi,

I was wondering, how is THOLD collecting data?? I am using BOOST. Is it collecting data directly from MySQL or is it opening each RRD file???

I have enabled a thold to monitor Errors on interfaces and it seems it is killing my server..

Any recommendations?
