Cacti + XAMPP + Windows 7 white graphs

Post by kidkoala »

I've installed Cacti 0.8.8a, XAMPP 1.7.7, and running under Windows 7. RRDTool is 1.44. I am testing Cacti as localhost, checked if .rrd files are created, and everything is OK. I use Windows-internal scheluder. Cacti log looks like:

Code: Select all

Cacti does not produce graphs. I've attached also screenshot of empty graphs. I think there can be something wrong with permission to cmd.exe, but even if I'm logged as administrator, i can't set privileges - there is an error about access to file. I checked RRDTool in command line - it prints a lot of data into console, so i suppose it works good.

there is a reason why the installation guide doesn't talk about XAMPP, because it configures additional settings which in the past have prevented Cacti from functioning.

Did you read the links in http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11747 for troubleshooting?

Yes, this is likely a source of your problems too. UAC is likely to blame.
