Cacti + VPN with dynamic IP

Hi everybody,

I would like to configure Cacti to use with Mikrotik devices. We want to get to monitor devices that have not an static IP address. So, my question is: Can I configure Cacti to use VPN to take all mikrotik devices' data? Of course, we will configure Mikrotik devices to send information to Cacti server.

You should use DNS (perhaps in conjunction with DHCP providing correct IP@ and update DNS) to cope with dynamic IP@. Keep device names stable and only change IP@ and all will be fine
