Create template for RRD Nagios link

Hello, we have set nagios with cacti and the RRD. All seem be working properly. Also It is possible to view graphs from nagios. Now we would like to use cacti to create a template pointing to the RRD but we are absolutelly lost. is there any useful link o information to help us with out goal?

Hi guys,

We have Cacti with nagios integrated. All is ok. We are able to monitoring alarms, etc

We have:
Centos 6.2
Nagios 3.2
Cacti 0.8
NPC
Ndo2db
..
..
We have installed pnp4nagios as well and it is possible to get graphs from nagios however we would like to use Cacti to get the graphs.

Historic datas are being stored in cacti database. We have installed ndoutils for that.

From Cacti, with all ok, we are able to monitoring real time events, alarms, mai, etc However it's not clear for us how is it possibble to graph. All seem ok, integration is quite well but we have not graphics

We realize the default cacti installation brings up only a few templates.

- Any link explaining the process to get graphs?

The data is in the cacti dabase we are not sure if we have to configure the path to rrd files when creating graph.

Please, gimme a hand!

PHP 5.3.3 (cli) (built: Feb 2 2012 23:47:49)
Cacti 8.7g
Nagios 3.2
RRDtool 1.3.8

I have not error, but I am not able to display graphics. We think templates, datasources, etc, are aparently well configured.

Did you ever get Cacti and Nagios complementing each other? I have been using Cacti for several years, but new to Nagios. I'm attempting the same task. I'll let you know how it goes...
