Cacti graph not working
Hi There,
I've been started to using Cacti for 3 months and found my ucd/net CPU usage and ucd/net Memory graph is working with my two server and not working for several servers.
The working servers are fine with CPU and Memory usage grpahs , On the not working side i have seen nan values in my graph
Some one please pin point where could be the problem
thanks
Puspharaj

Re: Cacti graph not working
Mr.Gandalf,
Please help me out i dont have a clue what went wrong. These servers are my productions servers and i need it to get it done by this week for my critical application launch monitoring.
My cacti log indicates nothing went wrong.
How do i check it manually is that the graph working fine or not ?
Thanks
Puspharaj

Re: Cacti graph not working
I fear that you're using the localhost templates. Please use the ucd/net-snmp templates for remote hosts

Re: Cacti graph not working
In case snmpget does work, Cacti won't work either. Please solve the SNMP issue (e.g. by configuring the target client) before retryingpuspharaj wrote:Gandalf,

Re: Cacti graph not working
Gandalf,
The snmp failiure is only for the particular OID not for the entire client machine. I got few other grpahs working fine on that machine
From my server i issue this
snmpwalk -v 1 c secret remote_ip .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.14.0
It returns END of MIB or something
thanks

Re: Cacti graph not working
Again, that is an SNMP error. The SNMPGET must return a valid number to be graphed. This is NOT a cacti issuepuspharaj wrote:Gandalf,
