I have the same problem, when I try to modify any device i got red letters, but there are no red empty fields...

I've found this link, but it affects to another cacti version, and states that the fix is to patch cacti, but there are no patches for 8.8.a.

Any ideas?

php error logging enabled? Any errors present?
What plugins are enabled? Issue go away when they're all disabled?
