Monitor Plugin - auto Monitor

When I select "Add" in Devices to add a new device, there is a checkbox for Monitor Host.
this checkbox is "unchecked"

when can I edit the Monitor plugin code so that this box is "checked" by default?

If you add 100 devices using the cli, it seems you have to then come into this screen for every single one to check this box.
