No Tab when install plugin

Post by syl22 »

Hello ! (Sorry for my poor english, it's not my natural language)

I have a little problem with cacti:

When i install plugins, they works, but , i don't see the little Tab in top .

By exemple, i use Camm plugin , when i call http://x.x.x.x/cacti/plugins/camm_view.php , no problem . Same issue with ntop :-(

I use : (Cacti Version: 0.8.8a, Plugin Architecture Version: 3.1)

I don't know where i need to take a look (nothing special in cacti.log) and , i don't know anything in php

Of course, i user management, realm permissions, everything is ok.

Thank you for your help !

Edit : Ok , i find .
That was a problem with web- Basic authentication ...??

I would like to thank everybody here : I read this forums from several months and i learn a lot of things here !

If anyone has a similar issue, you need to add ntop user permission under >user management>Realm permissions

Noob mistake

Hi All

I am getting the same issue with the ntop plugin, all the other plugins work fine. I dont get any error messages in the log file for the ntop plugin and it seems to install but the icon at the top of the page does not display. I have tried uninstalling the plugin, removing it from /include/config.php and readding the directory in /plugins, all to no avail.

There's no need for changing config.php any more. But it may be an issue with that plugin ...
