Help with install

Hello, I'm needing you help...

I'm not getting install cacti in my Windows XP, but in the manual a exist reference indicating cacti.exe.

But, don't exist this file, in the zip file don't exist.

Where Do I find this file?

When I enter site http://your web/cacti appears an error "function connection" of mysql in a some line, I don´t remember the number.

Somebody help me?
Sorry for english, a day I learning correctly, I speak portuguese

First copy the errors you are getting when trying to pull a page otherwise no one can help you. Second when you are reffering to cacti.exe I think you mean cactid.exe which is a daemon, just schedule cmd.php for a windows box using task scheduler and it will do the polling for you.

Post back with the errors you are getting, they are more than likely database connectivity problems.
