Monitoring per IP traffic on the firewall

I'm running an iptables based firewall on Linux and I would like to monitor the traffic coming through the interface connected to the external net and see which of the internal IP is generating it. Is it possible with Cacti?

What scripts should I use? (I'm going to run Cacti on a server different than the firewall, so I do not know how to read this kind of information).

Please forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question but I'm new to Cacti.

look for netflow, nprobe, on ntop.org -> use NetFlow to gather these values. Wheter graphing these values within cacti? I don´t know.
