NPC Pluggin - Nagios Status OFF

Hi buddies, I write hoping to help me with 2 queries I have.

A. - Install the NPC in my Cacti Plugin. both are the latest versions. on an Ubuntu server 11.10. I have reviewed many post on the forum and have tried various settings in the configuration that have been suggested in the answers, reinstall the pluggin but yet I still presenting the same problem as the NPC continues to display the Status OFF.

2. - The second question is whether there any way to restrict user access to host groups or services within the NPC.
